Oya Health is a longevity company focused on physical wellbeing and mental performance. When it joined DesignGuru, the business was still working out its direction and what it needed creatively.

Founder Michella Metzler wanted designers, UX/UI specialists and video support working as one team, not a collection of separate contractors. Timelines were tight and requirements kept changing, so the team had to keep up with decisions made along the way.

Solution

DesignGuru brought together around five professionals across design, UX/UI and video. During onboarding, they joined calls and adjusted as Oya Health's thinking developed.

It wasn't all smooth. Michella recalls some early hiccups, but says the designers stayed patient and focused on solutions. Having people willing to talk a change through made it easier to navigate.

The portal gave Oya Health one place for communication, drafts and files. Instead of hunting through laptops and cloud folders, the team could go back to the project history and find the work.

Results

Oya Health got several creative disciplines through one ongoing relationship. Michella singles out the team's responsiveness, especially when requests were urgent or the direction shifted.

She also sees the portal as a practical improvement to how the business organises design work. Put together, she says the value outweighs what Oya Health invests.
